Brussels, December 03 (QNA) – European stock indexes rose at the start of Wednesday’s trading, supported by gains in technology and industrial sector stocks. The European Stoxx 600 index climbed by 0.2 percent, reaching 576.90 points.
Germany’s DAX index rose 0.3 percent, registering 23,784.18 points, while the UK’s FTSE 100 remained steady at 9,694.58 points, and France’s CAC index held at 8,075.81 points.
Technology sector stocks provided the strongest support to the European index, putting it on track to extend gains for a fourth consecutive session.
They were followed by industrial sector stocks, with defense shares leading the gains rising by 1 percent.
