Moscow, December 4 (QNA) – The Russian Defense Ministry announced today that its forces launched airstrikes on military airfield infrastructure and energy facilities in Ukraine.
In a statement, the ministry said that its tactical operational aviation, drones, missile forces, and artillery targeted military airfield infrastructure, drone launch and preparation sites, and transportation and energy infrastructure facilities used by the Ukrainian armed forces.
It indicated that Ukrainian forces suffered approximately 515 casualties, including both killed and wounded, across various fronts in the past 24 hours.
It is worth noting that Russia has escalated its air offensive against various Ukrainian regions in recent months, particularly the capital Kyiv and Donetsk, in an effort to achieve tactical gains on the battlefield before the final negotiations on the peace plan between the two countries, launched by US President Donald Trump, which now seems closer than ever.
