MIRPUR ( AJK): Dec 16:Rich tributes were paid at a prayer meeting hosted at Kashmir Press Club Auditorium here on Tuesday, to the martyrs of Army Public School Peshawar this day eleven years ago in 2014, for the upgradation of the status of144 martyrs in heaven

Our Special Jammu Kashmir state Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao reports that speakers including President Kashmir Press Club Mirpur Syed Abid Hussain Shah while paying tributes to the martyrs, said that the wounds of the APS tragedy were still fresh today. “The enemy unleashed barbarity on those innocent lives who had come to school to quench their thirst for knowledge”, he said.

The KPC President continued that intentions of the heinous terrorists were that by doing this coward act. they would create unrest, misfortune and undermine the roots of this country, but they forgot that they were descended from a nation whose history was full of sacrifices.

A large number of members of the Kashmir Press Club were present on the occasion.

Syed Abid Hussain Shah and other speakers said that the enemy had done a coward deed. They forgot which nation they were descended from. Innocent children sacrificed their lives to give new life to the ongoing war against terrorism and the unity and solidarity that came after that in the country was incomparable.

Speakers said It was forgotten that the entire nation stands on the back of its brave armed forces of Pakistan and that was why today the back of the Hindustani sedition has been broken and the terrorist Khawarij were being sent to hell.

Peace, they said, is coming to the country. “We can never forget the supreme sacrifices of lives of our innocent children. They will be remembered forever”, speakers said.

They said that APS tragedy was a sinister conspiracy. The valiant children thwarted the enemy’s nefarious designs by sacrificing their lives.

Participants offered prayers for the upholfing of the status of the martyrs of the tragedy including the innocent children in heaven.
