Israel and Germany have signed a contract valued at approximately $3.1 billion to expand the Arrow-3 air and missile defense system, produced by Israel Aerospace Industries, Israel’s defense ministry announced on Thursday.
The latest agreement builds on the original procurement deal signed two years ago, further strengthening Germany’s air defense capabilities through the advanced Arrow system. With this expansion, the total value of agreements related to the Arrow-3 program between the two countries now stands at around $6.7 billion, according to the ministry.
