Sitting on a flat rock, softly tracing lines with small stones, 9-year-old Azan was lost in deep thoughts. I’ll become a chef like Czn Burak (renowned Turkish chef), cooking in breathtaking locations – perhaps on a mountaintop, beachside or in the heart of lush valleys. His rumbling tummy hinted that his daydream might be driven by hunger.

On the other hand, we stepped into a grandiose space, surrounded by the finest luxuries and indulgent comforts, exuding refinement and sophistication. A kid of age around 10 named “Momin”, sitting in the cozy sofa, enjoying nachos with ice tea, watching one of his favourite series, “Captain America”. It’ll be great, if Captain America’s shield have “Smart Threat Detector” to predict and prepare for attacks before they even happen. I don’t want to eat nachaos mum, bring me lasagna.

The two worlds in the same World, where the former is yearning for single morsel, dreaming of food abundance, and the later has already enough choices and is dreaming for technological advancement. The same World, the different priorities.

There is no doubt that God made us in different scenario to test us, and people’s hardship vary from each other. But, according to Prophet’s teaching, the Muslim community is like a single, harmonious body, where every individual is a vital organ. If one part suffers pain or distress, the entire body feels the ache. Just as a single limb cannot be ignored when it hurts, no member of the Muslim community should be neglected when they face hardship or struggle.

The need is to transcend the divisions that separate us and create a single, harmonious world. We must strive to eradicate the artificial boundaries that fragment humanity into two worlds, and instead, foster a global community where every individual can thrive in unity and solidarity.
