MIRPUR ( AJK): January 12: At least 03 persons were killed and 07 injured, 02 of them seriously when mini goods truck carrying people and a bull fell into a deep ravine at Dhangli, near Mirpur, following failure of brakes, police said.
The vehicle was heading from Saggri, a village in the Kuler Suidan area, to Dadyal town in this district to attend the Binsaeen Mela. ( festival), area police told this Correspondent Monday night.
“Three people were killed on the spot, and seven others were injured in the accident. The injured were rescued and taken to the THQ Hospital in Dadyal, where two of them were later shifted to Rawalpindi due to the severity of their injuries, area police officer said.
The police said the accident occurred due to failure of brake of the six wheeler. The rescue team and local people reached the scene and rescued the injured besides recovering bodies of the deceased
