Advisor to Interior Minister: Police Academy Affirms Ability to Supply Security Agencies with Distinguished National Talent

Doha, January 21 (QNA) – HE Legal Advisor to HE the Minister of Interior and General Supervisor of the Police Academy Dr. Abdullah Yusuf Al Mal highlighted the ongoing national role of the Police Academy in preparing highly qualified officers equipped with a combination of legal knowledge and advanced police professionalism. Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the 8th batch of cadets at the Police College, Dr. Al Mal emphasized that the academy operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Interior (MOI), offering a modern training system that aligns with scientific and technological developments and incorporates the latest concepts of contemporary security work.
He noted that the academy, in line with the vision of the MOI and directives of its senior leadership, continually develops its academic and training programs to enhance the efficiency of graduates. This ensures they are prepared to face evolving security challenges and crime patterns competently while upholding the highest standards of discipline and professional responsibility. With successive batches of graduates, the academy continues to supply security agencies with distinguished national competencies capable of protecting the homeland, preserving societal safety, and contributing to regional and international security and stability.
President of the Police Academy Major General Abdulrahman Majid Al Sulaiti described the graduation as a celebration of competent officers trained both scientifically and practically in legal and police fields. He emphasized that the academy strengthens the security and military sector with qualified Qatari cadres who fulfill the strategic goals of the MOI. He added that the academy has made significant progress since its establishment, continuously updating educational programs to keep pace with developments in the security field.
Al Sulaiti also highlighted the academy’s collaboration with prestigious security institutions locally and internationally to enhance its educational journey, exchanging expertise and enriching training programs.
Vice President of the Police Academy and Director of the Police College Colonel Dr. Fahad Saeed Al Subaie expressed his pride in the graduation of the 8th batch, affirming that the cadets are now equipped with advanced military training and knowledge of legal and police sciences, preparing them for practical roles in the military and police sectors. He added that the cadets represent a qualitative addition to the workforce and will serve as role models for future batches.
Colonel Dr. Al Subaie stressed that the college has steadily advanced in its journey of development and prosperity, building a distinguished reputation recognized by police leaders, directors of colleges, and heads of police academies in friendly countries. He emphasized the importance of maintaining this model and enhancing confidence to ensure the college’s continued excellence and leadership.
Captain Mohammed Nasser Al Sayed, commander of the 8th batch, affirmed that the Police College continues to implement academic and training development plans along a consistent upward trajectory. Since its inception, the college has enhanced its educational system through participation in local, regional, and international events, contributing to the mission of the MOI and achieving its carefully studied objectives.
He noted that this approach has positively impacted cadets by raising their cultural, scientific, and training levels, enabling them to contribute effectively to the ministry’s vision. Captain Al Sayed also highlighted the key milestones and stages that the 8th batch completed, reflecting a journey of dedication, excellence, and professional preparation.
The graduation of the 8th batch underscores the Police Academy’s commitment to producing highly trained personnel who are disciplined, loyal, and capable of consolidating security and stability while upholding the highest standards of professional responsibility.
