Pakistani Ambassador Strengthens Ties with Business Community During Visit to Today’s Fashion Showroom in Doha

Doha: His Excellency Mr. Muhammad Aamer, Ambassador of Pakistan to the State of Qatar, visited Today’s Fashion Showroom on Old Airport Road at the invitation of the management, engaging with members of the Pakistan Business Council – Qatar and prominent figures from the Pakistani community.
The visit was hosted by Mr. Mohammad Ikram Malazai, Director of Today’s Fashion, along with Mr. Mohammad Saad Malazi, Assistant Director, and Mr. Mohammad Israr Malazai, President of the Pakistan Business Council. The gathering included Council members Said Gul, G.D. Khan Bangash, Habib, Mohammad Qayyum, Mohammad Khan, Riyaz Ahmad Bakali, Imran Rafiq, Fawad Rana, and Janan Bangash, along with other prominent business and community leaders.
Accompanying the Ambassador were senior Embassy officials, including Deputy Head of Mission Ms. Atiiya Iqbal; Trade and Investment Attaché Ms. Qurat ul Ain Zafar; and Mr. Osama Idrees, Community Welfare Attaché-I. Their presence underscored the Embassy’s commitment to fostering close engagement with Pakistanis in Qatar.
Mr. Israr Malazai welcomed the Ambassador, expressing gratitude for his continued interaction with the diaspora and emphasizing the importance of unity and cooperation in promoting Pakistan’s image and strengthening economic ties.
Ambassador Muhammad Aamer highlighted the importance of maintaining strong connections with all segments of the Pakistani community. He praised their contributions toward enhancing Pakistan’s reputation abroad and stressed that collective efforts and collaboration can drive meaningful progress both in Qatar and back home.
The visit included an interactive session during which Council members shared insights on trade, investment, and community welfare. Ambassador Aamer responded positively, reaffirming the Embassy’s support for initiatives benefiting the community.
As a mark of respect, the President of the Pakistan Business Council presented the Ambassador with traditional gifts, including a Peshawari cap and a winter shawl.
During the tour of Today’s Fashion showroom, Ambassador Aamer described the establishment as a notable achievement of the Pakistani business community in Qatar. Recognized as one of the largest Pakistani ready-made garment showrooms in the country, it spans two floors and features a wide range of men’s, women’s, and children’s apparel, including both Pakistani and international brands. The showroom reflects the growing strength and entrepreneurial spirit of Pakistanis in Qatar.
The event concluded on a warm and cordial note with refreshments, including traditional snacks and karak tea. Participants described the engagement as productive and inspiring, reinforcing collaboration between the Embassy and the business community.
Ambassador Muhammad Aamer’s visit was widely acknowledged as a significant and meaningful interaction, further strengthening ties between the Embassy of Pakistan and the vibrant Pakistani business community in Qatar.
