Tehran, February 05 (QNA) – Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Araghchi announced on Thursday that his country will hold a new round of talks with the United States on its nuclear file.
Araghchi stated in a post on X platform that the nuclear negotiations with the United States will take place Friday morning in Muscat, highlighting the arrangements provided by Omani authorities for this new round of talks between Tehran and Washington.
Separately, Iranian sources indicated that the sixth round of negotiations between the parties will be indirect, noting the possible participation of Araghchi and US Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff.
Iran revealed last Tuesday its intention to move the talks with the United States from Istanbul to Muscat, and to hold the negotiations bilaterally to focus solely on nuclear issues.
