Russia has carried out a series of strikes targeting Ukrainian military-related infrastructure in several areas, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.
The ministry said the strikes targeted military airfield infrastructure, assembly workshops for fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles, and fuel and energy facilities used by the Ukrainian armed forces. Temporary deployment locations of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign fighters were also reportedly hit in multiple areas.
According to the statement, the strikes covered 148 locations linked to military operations and logistics infrastructure.
The Russian Defense Ministry also said its air defense systems intercepted five guided aerial bombs and shot down 293 fixed-wing drones over the past 24 hours.
The developments come as fighting continues between Russia and Ukraine, with both sides reporting ongoing military operations and aerial attacks.
