MIRPUR (AJK), April 16: PML-N Azad Jammu and Kashmir Central Joint Secretary Raja Kamran Manzoor on Thursday said the party is confident of forming the next government in AJK following the forthcoming general elections, claiming it will be on the pattern of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s governance model.
Talking to RKI News Special Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao, he said PML-N stands firmly with former AJK minister Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed, adding that the party continues to support him in all circumstances. He described Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed as a “talented, sincere and public welfare-oriented leader” who has always prioritized people’s issues.
Praising Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Raja Kamran Manzoor said she is promoting modern governance, transparency, and youth-focused development through innovative reforms and efficient public service delivery. He said these initiatives are being widely appreciated across the country.
He expressed confidence that PML-N will win the upcoming elections in AJK and form the next government, adding that the party enjoys strong public support and trust across different segments of society.
He further said that representatives and citizens from all communities stand with Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed, reflecting renewed confidence in his leadership. He added that development projects previously affected by “controversial decisions” during past political arrangements will be restarted and completed with renewed commitment.
Referring to the central leadership, he said former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif’s vision brought the country onto the path of development, while Prime Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif has set benchmarks in governance, public service, and infrastructure development.
He said PML-N remains committed to merit, transparency, and accelerated development in AJK. The party leadership, he added, is determined to resolve public issues and ensure fast-paced development across the region.
Concluding, he said time will prove that public service and positive politics guarantee success, and the party will, Insha Allah, fulfill the trust of the people through performance and development.
