United Nations agencies said about 2.1 million people in Gaza remain confined to less than half of the territory due to restrictions on movement, access and services.
OCHA said civilians cannot access areas containing land reserves and critical infrastructure. Movement outside Gaza, including access to the West Bank for specialized medical care, remains restricted.
Patients allowed out for medical evacuations represent a small fraction of those needing treatment unavailable locally. Restoring essential services is hindered by restrictions on critical supplies and limits on humanitarian operations.
Despite constraints, humanitarian partners continue limited relief operations on the ground in Gaza region. Nearly 5,000 bedding items, 600 bedding kits, 1,500 sealing-off kits and 550 tents were distributed to more than 4,400 families.
Food partners provide 1.1 million meals daily through 120 community kitchens. World Food Programme said hunger remains widespread despite months since ceasefire declaration, with families reliant on aid.
Rising food prices have left one in five families surviving on one meal per day. OCHA reported fuel shortages, forcing nearly 70 percent of households to rely on burning waste and unsafe cooking methods.
Displacement continues due to settler violence, with over 30 people forced from homes in Hebron and Ramallah in the past week. Since 2023, over 5,900 Palestinians have been displaced, including about 2,000 this year.
