MIRPUR ( AJK): May 21: Under the spirit of ensuring uninterrupted power supply in the lake city of Mirpur AJK, the newly Emergency Response Team has been put on high alert to avert any prolonged trouble of power outage during the ongoing season of rising heat wave in the region, it was officially stated
This was stated by Executive Engineer (Store Division) Arshad Chauhan, who has been assigned the additional duties of Exen Mirpur / New City Division during the Executive Engineer Electricity Shaukat Abbasi’s ex-Pakistan leave, the sources told this Correspondent here on Thursday.
According to the details, Executive Engineer Electricity Arshad Chauhan, in the light of the instructions of Chief Engineer Electricity Mirpur Muhammad Nazir Mughal, has formed an ‘Emergency Response Team’ for the uninterrupted supply and immediate restoration of electricity in view of the ongoing intense heat in the city areas falling in his jurisdiction.
Speaking in the inaugural meeting of the Emergency Response Team held here Thursday, Executive Engineer Arshad Chauhan said “providing relief to the citizens in this season of rising intense heat is top priority of the State Electricity Department”.
“The officers and lines staffers of the Electricity Department are engaged round the clock for maintaining uninterrupted supply of electricity and immediate restoration in case of any technical malfunction”, he added
