Doha, June 18 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a telephone conversation on Thursday from HE President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.
During the call, HE President Pezeshkian expressed appreciation for HH the Amir’s role in fostering de-escalation in the region, saying such efforts would consolidate regional and global stability.
For his part, HH the Amir congratulated HE the Iranian President on the newly concluded Memorandum of Understanding between Tehran and Washington, expressing optimism that it will bolster long-term regional and international peace.
HH the Amir also reaffirmed the State of Qatar’s unwavering support for diplomacy and initiatives aimed at resolving disputes and safeguarding regional and international peace.
