The 2026 FIFA World Cup has moved into the knockout stage following the completion of the group stage. A total of 32 teams have secured places in the Round of 32, while 16 teams have been eliminated from the tournament.
The teams exiting after the group stage are Haiti, Türkiye, Tunisia, Jordan, Panama, Qatar, Curacao, Czechia, Iraq, Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Scotland, Uzbekistan, South Korea and Iran.
The Round of 32 marks the start of the tournament’s single-elimination phase, where the remaining teams will compete for a place in the Round of 16 as the race for the FIFA World Cup title intensifies.
