Damascus, July 06 (QNA) – Israeli occupation forces launched a new incursion on Monday into the southern countryside of Quneitra province in southern Syria, local sources reported.
A force consisting of three military vehicles set up a temporary checkpoint at the junction of the village of Saida Al Jolan, before moving towards the Hanout area, where they stopped two shepherds and conducted a field investigation with them.
The incursion comes days after Israel targeted the area between the village of Bariqa and the town of Kodna in southern Quneitra with three artillery shells, causing damage to agricultural land.
Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria and raid operations, as Syria renews its calls on the international community to act to stop these violations and compel Israel to fully withdraw from Syrian territory.
