MIRPUR (AJK), July 16: Former AJK minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed has said that his party remains committed to public service, development and prosperity in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, describing PML-N as a symbol of hope for the people.
Speaking to media persons in Mirpur, Saeed, who is contesting the AJK General Elections from LA-3 Mirpur constituency, said PML-N leadership has always focused on development-oriented politics and public welfare.
He highlighted former Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s initiatives, including motorway construction, energy projects and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), saying these projects contributed to Pakistan’s economic progress. He also praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s administrative efforts and development initiatives.
Saeed appreciated Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s work in healthcare, education, social welfare and public transport sectors, saying her initiatives reflected a people-focused approach.
He said PML-N has a clear vision and practical strategy for the development of Pakistan and AJK. He expressed confidence that voters would support the party in the upcoming elections and help establish a stable government.
Saeed said that after coming into power in AJK, PML-N would prioritize road construction and rehabilitation, improvement of health and education facilities, employment opportunities for youth, modern civic services and completion of public welfare projects.
He described Mirpur as an economic and commercial centre of AJK and stressed that its development was essential for regional progress. He pledged to focus on infrastructure improvement, clean drinking water, drainage systems, traffic management and investment opportunities.
Reiterating PML-N’s commitment to performance-based politics and sustainable development, Saeed expressed optimism that the party would lead AJK towards stability and prosperity with public support in the July 27 general elections.
