Gaza, August 02 (QNA) – Israeli airstrikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip on Sunday killed two Palestinians and injured others.
Medical sources at Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said that two people were killed and others were injured as a result of an Israeli airstrike that targeted a civilian vehicle traveling on Salah Al Din Street near Deir Al Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
Other sources also reported that 5 people, including 3 children, were injured in an Israeli drone strike on a camp for displaced people west of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Civil Defense said its crews transported several wounded people from the bombing site and extinguished fires that broke out in the tents of displaced people as a result of the Israeli airstrike.
Since yesterday, the occupation forces have escalated their airstrikes, shelling, and shooting operations against several targets in the Strip, including homes, civilian vehicles, and camps for displaced people, killing more than 16 people and injuring dozens.
Today, the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023, has risen to 73,356, in addition to 174,185.
