Kyiv, May 28 – The Ukrainian Air Force announced on Tuesday the successful downing of three Russian drones that targeted various regions across the country.
On Monday night, Russia launched an air attack utilizing three drones. Ukrainian air defense units intercepted and neutralized these drones in the regions of Zaporizhia, Dnieper, Petrovsk, and Cherkasy, according to a statement by Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk via Telegram.
Recent months have seen new developments in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, with both sides increasingly avoiding direct confrontations and instead employing drones and missiles for precision strikes on military targets.
