“ابنِ مریم ہُوا کرے کوئی”
زخم دل کے بھرا کرے کوئی

کارِ دنیا سے بے خبر ہو کر
تیری باتیں سُنا کرے کوئی

تیرے رخ کی جو دید ہو جائے
اور پھر کیا دعا کرے کوئی

تجھ کو آتا نہیں وفا کرنا
تجھ سے پھر کیوں گلہ کرے کوئی

دیکھنے سے تجھے جو ہو قاصر
مضطرب ہی رہا کرے کوئی

زندگی کا ہے یہ بھی اک مقصد
دوسروں کا بھلا کرے کوئی

سب دُکھوں کا ہے اک یہی مرہم
جسم سے دل جدا کرے کوئی
