Israeli Occupation Warplanes Break Sound Barrier in Lebanon

Beirut, June 30 (QNA) – Israeli occupation warplanes broke the sound barrier over areas in Lebanon.

Israeli warplanes broke the sound barrier twice last night while flying at a low altitude above Jezzine. They also broke the sound barrier over Marjayoun, Rachaya, and the Central Beqaa region.

Additionally, Israeli warplanes broke the sound barrier twice at low altitude over Nabatieh and Iqlim al-Tuffah, creating a loud noise. Another sound barrier breach occurred over Matn and Keserwan, causing panic among residents, Qatar News Agency (QNA) correspondent in Beirut said.

Lebanon’s Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati called on the Israeli entity to stop its repeated attacks on Lebanon and to stop the war in the Gaza Strip.

During a visit to southern Lebanon, Mikati said: “We are always advocates of peace, and our choice is peace and the implementation of Resolution 1701. Israel must stop its repeated attacks on Lebanon, and stop the war in Gaza, and everyone must implement International Resolution No. 2735.” “The threats that we are witnessing are a form of psychological warfare,” he added.

The Israeli entity continues its attacks on towns and villages in southern Lebanon, coinciding with its ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7.

The Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon have resulted in civilian casualties and forced hundreds of families to flee their homes.
