Doha, July 09 (QNA) – HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Tuesday with HE US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Barbara Leaf, who is visiting the country.

The meeting discussed the close strategic relations between the State of Qatar and the United States of America, and ways to support and strengthen them. It also discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, along with developments of the joint mediation efforts to end the war on the Strip, in addition to a number of topics of mutual interest
