Rahbarkisan Desk, Doha Qatar. The District 116 Toastmasters Annual Conference organizers had a press conference in preparation for Dtac 2023 on Saturday, May 20 at the Pullman Hotel West Bay. The organizers while giving a media briefing said that DTAC 2023 will be held at the same Hotel Pullman on Friday and Saturday, May 26 and 27, 2023. In this conference (TMI) according to the record of Toastmasters International, 117 Toastmasters Clubs under District 116, Qatar are holding regular meetings. It is estimated that Toastmasters has more than 2000 members. In this district there are 8 divisions and 32 areas out of which 8 eight winners from 4 categories, International Speech, Table Topics, Humour will compete against each other. Speaking competitions are governed by the rules and regulations of Toastmasters International. The speeches will be in Arabic , English , Malayalam and Tamil. The winner of the English international category will proceed fo next participate next level. The finals will be help at Toastmasters International Convention at Bahamas in Augst 2023. Winner at Bahadi will be called the World Public Speaking Champion. So far 350 Toastmasters have registered for this conference and we hope this number will go upto 500. In response to a question, Rajesh VC, DTM said that about 4 Million people across the globe are benefitted from Toastmasters program. people in Qatar have benefited from Toastmasters . TMI has designed this program in such a way that everyones gets equal opportunity to learn. In response to another question, he said that currently people of 20 nationalities are benefiting from TMI in Qatar and this program is being offered in 4 languages Arabic , English, Hindu Malayalam, Marati and Tamil
