Kashmiris observe August 5 as Exploitation, Day against Indian sinister act of revoking the special status of the disputed IIOJ&K State

MIRPUR ( AJK): August 5: Jammu & Kashmir state population living both sides of the LoC and rest of the world, on Monday, bserved August 5 as  Kashmir’s Exploitation, Black Day against Indian sinister act of revoking the special status of the disputed IIOJ&K State this day 05 years ago in 2019.

Our Special Jammu and Kashmir state Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao reports from AJK’ lake city of  Mirpur that the Kashmiris observed the exploitation/black day on the call given by All Parties Hurriyat Conference besides all other Kashmiri freedom organizations and suppoted by AJK government. to mourne August 05, 2019 Indian sinister and forced action at gun point  abrogating special status of the internationally  acknowledged disputed Jammu Kashmir State currently in Indian Illegal occupation.

On August 5 in 2019, the incumbent fascist Modi-led Hindutva Indian  government had revoked Article 370 and 35-A that granted special status to the internationally recognised disputed territory and unlawfully imposed a brutal military and police siege.

The day marked with day-long anti-India street protests and demonstrations in AJK besides complete shutter down strike and anti India gatherings on the call of  the  APHC and other organizations at both sides of the LoC including  in occupied  Srinagar and suburbs as Kashmiris have categorically rejected the illegal and unilateral Indian actions of August 5, 2019.

According to information, Kashmiris inhibiting both sides of LOC (line of control) and besides rest of entire  world observed August 5 as Black Day to express indignation against August 05, 2019, Indian nefarious act of revoking the special status of the internationally-acknowledged disputed Indian occupied Jammu Kashmir (IIOJK) State through the abrogation of Article 370 of Indian constitution this day four years ago.

In Azad Jammu Kashmir, the day was marked with protest processions and rallies in all ten  district and tehsil headquarter of the liberated territory including the capital city of Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Kotli, Bhimbher, Bagh Rawalakot, Palandri, Neelam valley, Haveili and Jhelum valley districts to express complete solidarity with the people of occupied Jammu Kashmir and to condemn to Indian government’s illegal and nefarious action of changing the status the bulk part of the disputed state in India’s unlawful and forced occupation.

In lake city of Mirpur, thousands of people belonging to all spheres of life staged a mammoth anti India protest demonstrations under the leadership of  the District Council Chairman Raja Naveed Akhter, city Mayor Usman Khalid Ali, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman District National Events Organizing Committee Yasir Riaz Chaudhry, SSP Kamran Ali, President PMA AJK Dr. Ejaz Raja,  APHC leader Bashir Shagoo, PPP leader Waqas Ashraf Chaudhry,  business community leaders Raja Khalid  Mahmood and Suhail Shujah, Divisional Head PID AJK  Javeid Malik, Tehsildar Imran Chaudhry, Shakoor Mughal of Muslim Conference, office bearers of District Bar Association, social and political leaders.

Speakers vehemently condemned the Indian unlawful action of August 5, 2019 scrapping  special status of disputed Jammu Kashmir state blatantly violating the UN resolutions on Kashmir  issue. SPpeakers urged the UNO to move to initiate stringent action against India imposing every possible sanctions against New Delhi for defying the its Security  Council’s resolutions on Kashmir  Conflict – which, they addrd, is required to be settled without further delay.

In AJK’s State metropolis Muzaffarabad a mammoth protest rally was held to mark August 05 as Kashmir’s exploitation and black day.

The leaders of all political, religious and public representative organizations besides thousands of people belonging to all walks of life participated in the protest procession.

Addressing the rally, speakers on this occasion invited the attention of the United Nations (UN) to fulfill its global obligations taking stringent action against India’s sinister move of scrapping the special status of the IIOJK State defying all international norms and commitments most particularly the UNSC resolutions on the Kashmir issue.

“Indian occupational forces have turned the entire Indian illegally occupied Jammu Kashmir State into the world’s largest prison”, speakers said.

Speakers called upon the international human rights organizations, and the United Nations to take notice of India’s increased brutal tactics against the innocent population in Jammu and Kashmir State in her unlawful occupation
