MIRPUR ( AJK): Dec. 26 : United Business Group of Pakistan (UBG) has inducted Mr. Javeid Iqbal Chaudhry veteran business tycoon of Azad Jammu Kashmir, as Vice President of the organization, says an official notification issued by the organisation.

Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) President Atif Ikram Shaikh handed over the notification of appointment to the newly appointed Vice President of the UBG Chaudhry Javed Iqbal, the former Vice President of the FPCCI and eex severally times President of Azad Jammu Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries and Mirpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries, at a ceremony held at FPCCI Capital Office Islamabad Wednesday, the official notification issued by Rhe United Business Group, released to the media here on Thursday said.

Our Special Jammu and Kashmir state Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao reports from Mirpur AJK that besides FPCCI President Atif Ikram Sheikh, UBG Secretary General Zafar Bakhtawari, UBG Islamabad Region President Abdul Rauf Alam, ICCI President Nasir Qureshi, Vice President Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry, former Chairman Funders Group Khalid Iqbal Malik, former Senior Vice President of ICCI Fad Waheed, Senior Vice President of UBG Islam Region Johar Ali, Kashif Nazir Bajar and other prominent personalities belonging to the top Business community of Pakistan and AJK was also present on this occasion.

Speaking on this occasion the FPCCI President Atif Ikram Shaikh said that the appointment of Chaudhry Javed Iqbal was an important step in the reorganization of UBG.

UBG Secretary General Zafar Bakhtavari said that UBG Patron General SM Tanveer has taken series of healthy measures to make the organization dynamic and vibrant.

That UBG, he continued, was determined to achieve more success under his leadership.

Lauding Javed’s induction as VP in the august national Business community forum, Abdul Rauf said that Chaudhry Javed Iqbal has already proved his abilities and high professional intelect in the past since he successfully rendered his excellent services in FPCCI and Mirpur, AJKCCI.

“UBG values his services and inshallah he, under the dynamic leadership of the UBG President, will further strengthen and stabilize the organization with his skills in Pakistan as well as Azad Jammu Kashmir, since Pakistan is incomplete without its jugular vein-Kashmir.
