MIRPUR ( AJK): June 18: Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Justice Raja Saeed Akram Khan, Senior Judge of the AJK Supreme Court Justice Khawaja Muhammad Naseem and Judge AJK Supreme Court Justice Raza Ali Khan have expressed deep sense of shock and grief over the death of former District and Sessions Judge, former Registrar Supreme Court and a prominent figure of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir judiciary, Bostan Chaudhry Advocate.

In a condolence message issued by the Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, the honorable CJ and judges of the apex court paid rich tribute to the judicial services of the deceased.

They said in the statement that the deceased was a very noble, sociable, capable and hardworking person who believed in the supremacy of law and the constitution. His services as a judge and as a lawyer will always be remembered. His death is an irreparable loss for the entire state.

The Chief Justice of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and the judges of the apex court said that the entire judiciary of Azad Jammu and Kashmir equally shares the grief of the bereaved family.

A full court condolence reference and prayer ceremony will also be held in the Supreme Court of Azad Jammu and Kashmir on the morning of Thursday – June 19, 2025, to pay tribute to the deceased at the beginning of the court proceedings.

They prayed that May Allah Almighty grant the deceased a high place in heaven and grant patience to the bereaved family and friends to bear the big loss with courage.
