DOHA, Qatar – On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Bangladesh Cultural Academy Doha organized an Iftar and Doa Mahfil, celebrating unity and cultural harmony among expatriate communities. The event was presided over by President Engineer Akhtar Zaman (Mamun) under the direction of General Secretary E M Akash.
Organizing Secretary Mahmud Chowdhury, Hospitality Secretary Amin Bepari, Publicity Secretary Shakhat Hossain Sagar, Vice President Ismail Khan, and other officials spoke at the gathering. Cultural workers from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines attended, sharing experiences and fostering camaraderie. Eid gifts were also distributed to foreign guests as a gesture of goodwill.
The gathering saw the presence of notable members, including Engineers Ansar Uddin, Saeed, Asif, Varsun, Zain Uddin, and Faisal, highlighting the event’s broad participation from the engineering and cultural community.
