Calicut University honours NVBS for Excellence in Badminton training

DOHA: Calicut University honour for Qatar based  New Vision Badminton Sport ( NVBS) for its innovative badminton training and consistency in winning national and international competitions. Department of Commerce and Management Studies presented International Excellence Award 2024 to NVBS at the valedictory function of ASCEND 2024, the national level annual management conference held at the EMS seminar complex of University.

Dr. Prathyumnan PP , a syndicate member and senior professor from the department of physics presented the award in the presence of Dr.Muhammed Shahin Thayyil, director Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, University of Calicut, Dr.Sreesha CH , head of the department of Commerce and Management Studies and other officials.

Founder and CEO Benazir Manoj along with founder and chief coach Manoj Sahibjan received the award at the function.

The organisers appreciated the activities of NVBS in  adopting innovating training methods and vision.

Manoj Sahibjan, is an accomplished international badminton player and coach. In addition to his numerous achievements, he holds a record in  India Book of World Records for introducing analysis and progress reports for the first time in the sports industry.

Driven by his passion, lifelong dedication, and visionary approach, he co-founded New Vision Badminton Sport (NVBS) alongside his remarkable partner Benazir Manoj and  together, they have built a legacy of excellence

Under their leadership, NVBS is now shaping the next generation of champions. Through innovative training techniques and continuous scientific evaluations, they introduced a revolutionary system of player development.
