DOHA, QATAR – The Embassy of Japan in Qatar is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship 2026. The scholarship is available for Qatari nationals who wish to study at Japanese universities at the undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral level.

Interested Qatari nationals are encouraged to apply before the deadline of June 15, 2025. For detailed application guidelines and required documents, please visit the website of the Embassy of Japan in Qatar. For any inquiries, please contact the embassy on eojqatar@dh.mofa.go.jp

According to a survey by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), over 90% of international students in Japan report high satisfaction with their academic and cultural experiences, making Japan a top destination for quality higher education.
