Gaza, May 01 (QNA) – The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 52,718, the majority of whom are women and children.
The number of injured has reached 118,091, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
In a statement, the Ministry reported that hospitals in the Strip received 18 martyrs and 77 wounded in the past 24 hours.
Since the Israeli occupation breach of the ceasefire agreement on March 18, a total of 2,326 people have been killed and 6,050 injured.
The Ministry also noted that many victims remain trapped under the rubble or in the streets, with emergency and civil defense crews unable to reach them.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have launched a large-scale offensive on Gaza, resulting in thousands of deaths and injuries – mostly among women and children – in what remains an incomplete toll due to the inaccessibility of many affected areas.
