Dhakayya Restaurant has been inaugurated in Doha-Jedid, the capital of Qatar, with the aim of providing employment opportunities and serving healthy, homely food to Bangladeshi expatriates living in the country.
The inauguration took place on Monday evening, September 1, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by a group of young entrepreneurs. The chief guest at the event was Mr. Md Bahar Uddin, President of the Lakshmipur District Association in Qatar, alongside leaders of the Bangladeshi community.
During the ceremony, entrepreneurs Saiful Islam, Shahin Riaz, Shakil, Asim, and others addressed the gathering, highlighting the restaurant’s mission. They assured that all varieties of Bangladeshi cuisine will be available at Dhakayya Restaurant, which will remain open 24 hours.
Following the inauguration, a large number of Asian expatriates visited the restaurant, reflecting its warm reception in the community. The management also announced special food arrangements for helpless and low-income expatriates, underscoring its commitment to social responsibility.
