District 116 Qatar Hosts Inaugural Leadership Conclave: Empowering Leaders Beyond Toastmasters

Doha, Qatar – 6th September,2024– District 116 Toastmasters successfully hosted its highly anticipated First Leadership Conclave, bringing together dynamic leaders and aspiring individuals from across the region. Held at DPS Monarch International School, the event focused on empowering participants with leadership skills that transcend beyond Toastmasters and impact personal and professional growth. The Leadership Conclave featured engaging workshops, expert-led sessions, and interactive discussions designed to elevate leadership capabilities. Attendees were introduced to actionable strategies for growing clubs, onboarding new members, and staying committed to their personal development.

Key Highlights from the Conclave:

Leadership Beyond Toastmasters by Rajesh VC, DTM, explored how the leadership qualities fostered within Toastmasters can be applied to broader career and life goals. DTM Rajesh inspired attendees to take their skills beyond the club level and make an impact in the world. Closing the Sale to Grow Your Club by Christopher Almeida, DTM, equipped leaders with practical tools to attract and retain members, offering innovative ideas for building a vibrant Toastmasters community.

New Members Orientation by Alar Mel Mangai, DTM, provided insights on how to successfully integrate and engage new members from day one, ensuring their growth and success within the organization.

A Toastmaster’s Promise led by the District Director Sabeena M. K, DTM reaffirmed the core values of Toastmasters, reminding participants of their commitment to personal growth and excellence.
