District 116 Toastmasters Hosts Inspiring Leadership Seminar & Iftar Meet March 19, 2025 | Loyola International School, Doha

Doha, Qatar – District 116 Toastmasters brought together an enthusiastic gathering of members for a dynamic Leadership Seminar & Iftar Meet at Loyola International School. The event was designed to foster leadership development, inspire personal growth, and celebrate the spirit of togetherness during Ramadan.
The seminar commenced with a Call to Order by Mashood VC, DTM, District Logistics Manager, who welcomed the attendees and set the ground rules inviting the District Director to formally inaugurate the event. District Director Sabeena MK, DTM delivered a heartfelt Welcome Address, setting the stage for an afternoon of learning and inspiration.
Alarmel Mangai,DTM, Program Quality Director (PQD), outlined the District’s mission and introduced an esteemed panel of trainers who led an engaging leadership training session. The seminar featured thought-provoking speeches by seasoned Toastmasters, each offering valuable insights into different dimensions of leadership:
• “Find the Leader in You” – Sabeena MK, DTM inspired attendees to self-reflect and discover their unique leadership styles through various real-life scenarios.
• “Lead Without a Title” – Manzoor Moideen, DTM delivered a compelling message on leading effectively, even without a title, demonstrating the qualities of a true leader and leaving a lasting impression on all.
• “Empower Yourself” – Rajesh VC, DTM urged attendees to embrace mentorship and seize every opportunity to empower themselves and others.
• “Leadership Beyond Toastmasters” – Raghavan Menon, DTM emphasized the importance of delegation and fostering innovation in the workplace to cultivate effective leadership beyond Toastmasters.
• “Strategies of Successful Leadership” – Thayalan K , DTM provided strategic insights into building high-performing teams and achieving leadership excellence.
The engaging sessions covered essential leadership elements, including personal development, influence without authority, and strategies for success in professional and personal spheres. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks and adjournment by Club Growth Director Sherwin Olimpo, DTM. Also Timers Role assigned Abdul Halir and Shabir Hameed ensured smooth time management throughout the event.
Following the seminar, Toastmasters gathered at the Open Green Ground for a grand Iftar and buffet, reinforcing the bonds of camaraderie and celebrating the spirit of community during Ramadan.
The event was meticulously managed by the District 116 Logistics Team, under the leadership of Mashood VC,(DLM). Their unwavering dedication ensured the seamless execution of the program, allowing toastmasters to fully immerse themselves in the learning and networking experience.
The Leadership Seminar & Iftar Meet was more than just an event—it was an inspiring experience that combined leadership development, meaningful networking, and cultural celebration.
