Doha-based Indian author Dr. Amanulla Vadakkangara released his 95th book at a glittering ceremony held in Doha recently.
The book was formally launched by senior journalist Satyendra Pathak, who handed over a copy to S.A.M. Basheer, Vice President of World KMCC.
“Literature is a mirror of society. Each book narrates the story of our intellectual and cultural growth,” Pathak observed, while lauding Dr. Amanulla’s contributions. He added that Vijayamanthrangal, a widely acclaimed motivational series available in both book and audio podcast formats, continues to energise individuals during challenging times.
Basheer highlighted the societal role of Vijayamanthrangal, describing it as “a toolkit to resolve socio-cultural and psychological dilemmas,” while Dr. K.C. Sabu, President of Qatar Indian Forum and the assistant manager of Gulf Times , called it “a powerful motivational force that has transformed thousands of lives worldwide.”
The event was graced by several distinguished personalities, including Liji Abdulla (President, Qatar Malayali Influencers), social media influencer Angel Roshan, Benazir Manoj (Director, NVBS), NKM Musthafa Sahib (Chairman, Saudi Group), Faisal Razak (Director, Al Suwayed Group), Abdul Rauf Kondotty (Lok Kerala Sabha member), and Mashood Thiruthiyad (Global Secretary General, Mind Tune Eco Waves Society).
A unique highlight of the evening was a live painting of the book’s cover image by Roshni Krishnan, President of GRCC and art teacher at The Pearl School, which she presented to the author.
In his vote of thanks, Dr. Amanulla expressed gratitude to the guests and shared:
“I have completed the works for 100 books, and the next five are under printing. They will be released at the upcoming Sharjah International Book Fair.”
The evening concluded on a melodious note with local singers performing popular numbers in various languages, adding charm to the celebration.
