The vibrant spirit of Eid came alive at the Eid Bazaar organized by Sohni Dharti Forum on May 23 at the Al Khor Community (Ballroom, Al Waha Club). The event attracted a large number of visitors from various communities, all coming together to shop, socialize, and celebrate the upcoming Eid festival.
The bazaar featured a wide array of stalls from various vendors and brands, offering a delightful mix of items including traditional stitched and unstitched clothing for men, women, and children; abayas; artificial jewelry; makeup products; perfumes; bangles; henna; shoes; kids’ toys; and a wide selection of traditional Pakistani food items—all available at reasonable prices.
Shoppers expressed joy and nostalgia, sharing how the event recreated the festive market atmosphere they used to experience in their home countries. The variety and authenticity of products made many feel at home while preparing for Eid celebrations.
Among the notable participants was the popular outlet Today’s Fashion, which drew a significant crowd with its exclusive collection and festive offers.
The event was formally inaugurated by Sohni Dharti Chairman Mr. Anwar Ali Rana, accompanied by members of the executive committee. In his address, Mr. Rana extended heartfelt gratitude to all the vendors and residents of the Al Khor community for their enthusiastic participation, saying, “It’s heartening to see such a vibrant turnout. This event is our way of bringing the community together and sharing the joy of Eid.”
