The fashion show “Magical Threads of Bangladesh,” organized by the Embassy of Bangladesh in Jordan in collaboration with Bibi Russell, was a showcase of Bangladesh’s story, cultural attributes, distinctions, and achievements. Her Excellency Ambassador Nahida Sobhan expressed immense pride and honor in having Bibi Russell for the show. The enchanting ensembles, crafted from fabrics handwoven in Bangladesh, highlighted the country’s rich textile heritage. Notably, the models were expatriate Bangladeshi female workers, adding a unique and meaningful touch to the event. The fashion show aimed to break social barriers, reflecting the inclusive society fostered by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in present-day Bangladesh.
