The landmark test, held at the Emirates Motorplex in Umm Al Quwain, underscores EXEED’s commitment to pioneering innovations that turn “battery safety” from a promise into a proven reality.

Infront of media, customers, and international authorities, the EXEED RX PHEV equipped with CATL’s NP self-isolation smart battery underwent a 70-second extreme heat trial. The battery withstood the burn without fire or explosion, successfully meeting international standards such as GB-38031.

Its base structure layers PVC protection, high-strength steel, MPP buffering, and aluminum alloy, shielding cells from external impacts and scratches.

In pole impact tests, the explosive disconnect switch cut power within 2 milliseconds — far faster than industry norms. With IPX8-rated connectors, IP68 waterproofing, and 450mm wading depth, the EXEED RX PHEV is prepared for extreme weather and road conditions.
