In Pakistan, especially in cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, the growing café culture and evolving preferences among youth are driving a quiet coffee revolution. The increasing popularity of black coffee reflects not only global trends but also a rising health awareness among the population.
Black coffee is naturally low in calories, free from fat, sugar, and carbohydrates. A standard 8-ounce serving contains just two calories and is packed with essential nutrients such as caffeine, potassium, magnesium, niacin, riboflavin, and beneficial antioxidants. Its caffeine content, typically 80 to 100 milligrams per cup, can boost metabolism, enhance alertness, increase stamina, and improve fat oxidation. These properties make black coffee a valuable companion in weight management and fitness routines.
Scientific studies published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition and the Journal of Applied Physiology demonstrate that caffeine intake can increase metabolic rate and fat burning.
