Gaza, May 17 – The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the number of casualties from the ongoing Israeli aggression since October has reached 35,303 martyrs and 79,261 wounded. In a statement on Friday, the Ministry highlighted that four massacres were committed by Israeli soldiers in the past 24 hours, resulting in 31 martyrs and 56 injured individuals being taken to hospitals.
The Ministry’s daily report confirmed that many bodies remain trapped under rubble and on roads, with paramedics and civil defense personnel unable to reach them. Since October 7, the Israeli offensive on Gaza has led to over 114,000 casualties, including many women and children, and nearly 10,000 people remain missing. The conflict has caused widespread devastation and famine, claiming the lives of numerous children and elderly people. The Ministry’s report underscores the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the region.
