Gaza, March 22 (QNA) – The death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has risen to 49,747, with 113,213 injured, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
Over the past 48 hours, Gaza hospitals have received 130 martyrs, including two recovered from the rubble, along with 263 injured individuals.
The Ministry reported that since the renewed aggression began on Tuesday, March 18, the toll has reached 634 martyrs and 1,172 injured.
The Ministry also noted that many victims remain trapped under rubble and in inaccessible areas, with emergency and civil defense teams unable to reach them.
The Israeli aggression resumed early Tuesday, March 18, following a two-month ceasefire agreement that had been in effect since January 19.
However, Israel violated the ceasefire terms over the past two months, continuing sporadic attacks across Gaza, resulting in casualties and injuries.
The occupation also refused to implement humanitarian protocols and intensified its blockade on the Strip, which is enduring an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.
