Sharm El Sheikh, October 13 (QNA) – HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with a number of Their Majesties, Highnesses, and Excellencies the leaders of nations and heads of delegations and government participating in the Sharm El Sheikh Peace Summit, at the International Convention Center in Sharm El Sheikh, the Arab Republic of Egypt.
HH the Amir met with HM King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, HE President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, HE President of the Republic of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and HE President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron.
His Highness also met with HE Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer, HE Prime Minister of the Italian Republic Giorgia Meloni, HE Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Friedrich Merz, HH Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, a number of senior officials, and heads of delegations.
The discussions during the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the Sharm El Sheikh Peace Summit in Egypt, focused on the main issues on the summit’s agenda, particularly the agreement to end the war in Gaza, the flow of humanitarian aid to the Strip, and supporting peace and security in the region.
They also explored ways to support and enhance cooperation and relations within the international community across various fields, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international developments of common interest.
The meeting was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, and a number of Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir.
