MIRPUR ( AJK): Sept 06: “Pakistan Defense Day is a memorable day of exceptional historical importance”, said Kashmir Press Club Mirpur President.
Addressing ceremony hosted by the Press Club to mark Defence Day of Pakistan, speakers including the KPC President Syed Abid Hussain Shah and others said that entire nation was proud of the great struggle and bravery of the armed forces of Pakistan.
The KPC President recalled that In 1965, the people of Pakistan and the armed forces of Pakistan had resisted giving a befitting reply to the external aggression in such a way that the enemy had to face defeat due to which this day has become a symbol of national unity.
Our Special Jammu and Kashmir state Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao reports from Mirpur that whilec narating the Indo Pak September 1965 war, the seasoned Kashmiri journalist amd analysed Syed Abid Hussain Shah recalled that the historic war of artilery at Chawinda (Sialkot border district) in September 1965 gained exceptional famous the world over wherein the valiant local population along with the eave armed forces of Pakistan laid down in front of the enemy’s tanks showing the essence of their eternal bravery and strength for the defense of inch after inch of the motherland and the entire nation was proud of this exceptional bravery and unity of the nation and the armed forces for the defence of the frontiers of the motherland, he said adding that the enemy was always scared of the professional skills of our security agencies.
Shah sahib observed that the historic successful Indo-Pak war of Sept 1965 war marked a living example of the sacrifices of the Ghazis.
“We salute to the sacrifices of the armed forces of Pakistan and entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder our armed forces in every hour of trial since the brave armed forces of the country always stands allert to respond to the aggression of the enemy at all times, they observed.
Speakers said that India iherself was causing the destruction of India. “India must stop dreaming of its unity and integrityin the days to come following increased secessionist, seperatist movements especially the fast expanding Khalistan and Nagaland movements besides the Kashmiris struggle for freedom of the motherland from Indian illegal occupation of IIOJK, they underlined.
” Pakistan has a nuclear capability. India must give the Kashmiris their legitimate right to freedom by ending their oppressive rule in occupied Kashmir, because freedom is the fundamental right of Kashmiris”, they said.
Speakers urged that the international community should increase its pressure on India for the early liberation of JammuKashmirstatefrom Indian forced and unlawful occupation.
