Millions across India are joyously celebrating Holi, the vibrant festival of colours. Marking the arrival of spring, Holi symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and the end of winter. The festival also honours the divine love of Hindu deities Radha and Krishna, with especially grand celebrations held in Mathura and Vrindavan, believed to be their birthplace.
