Doha, Qatar – 26 June 2025 — HUAWEI Qatar proudly launched its innovative art initiative, Go Paint, at Doha British School – Al Wakra campus on Tuesday, 25 June 2025. The workshop brought together 12 talented students for a unique experience that blends artistic creativity with cutting-edge digital innovation.
Doha British School Al Wakra proudly hosted HUAWEI’s “Go Paint” initiative in Qatar on 25 June 2025, providing 12 talented students with a dynamic workshop that seamlessly blended traditional painting techniques with digital creativity using HUAWEI MatePad tablets. Led by renowned Qatari artist Hassan Al Mutawaa, the session encouraged self-expression and introduced students to the latest in digital art tools.
Reflecting on the event, Principal Mr. Hurst noted that the workshop represented far more than just an art lesson, it served as a platform for cultural expression, imaginative learning, and the powerful intersection of education and innovation.
Led by acclaimed Qatari artist Hassan Al Mutawaa, the session offered students hands-on guidance in exploring both traditional painting techniques and digital art tools using the latest HUAWEI MatePad tablets. The initiative aims to promote self-expression among youth while showcasing how technology can enhance modern artistic creation.
