ICC Eves Toastmasters Launch Term with Inspiring Open House

ICC Eves toastmasters club ‘The First Ladies Only Toastmasters Club, successfully conducted its first open house of the term on 13th September 2025 at Diana Gardens. The event brought together members and guests in a vibrant celebration of public speaking, leadership, and cultural spirit.
TM Bharti Shetty opened the meeting and passed the baton to Acting President Aishwarya, symbolizing continuity and leadership within the club. The program was energetically steered by Toastmaster of the Day, TM Beena Mansoor, who led the audience through engaging sessions built around the inspiring theme “Harvesting Growth Together.”
The prepared speech session began with TM Ambily Vinod who delivered a heartwarming speech titled “Clicks, Flowers, and Memories.” She was followed by keynote speaker Nirmala Raghuraman DTM, who captivated the audience with her thought-provoking topic “Scratch to Top.”
Adding a festive touch, the impromptu speech segment was conducted by TM Siby Ripson who chose Onam as the theme for the Table Topics session. This created an atmosphere of cultural vibrancy while giving participants a chance to showcase their spontaneity in speaking.
The general evaluation done by Susmita Pattnaik, DTM provided constructive feedback and appreciation for the day’s speakers and role players, highlighting the strengths of the session while offering insights for improvement.
The open house concluded on a high note, reinforcing the club’s mission of empowering women through communication and leadership. It was not only a platform for learning and fun but also a celebration of community and collaboration.
The meeting concluded with a traditional Onam Sadya, which was thoroughly enjoyed by both members and guests. The delicious feast, combined with the warmth of fellowship, brought the event to a memorable close, leaving participants inspired and connected.
