Doha: The Indian community in Qatar came together to celebrate a remarkable milestone—the release of the 100th book authored by Doha-based Indian writer Dr. Amanulla Vadakkangara. The glittering ceremony, held at the Skills Development Centre recently in Doha, gathered distinguished personalities, community leaders, and well-wishers to honor the prolific author’s extraordinary literary journey.
The book was formally released by JK Menon, Chairman of ABN Corporation, IBPC Qatar, and Director of Norka Roots, who handed over a copy to prominent businessman and fellow Norka Roots Director C.V. Rappai.
In his address, JK Menon highlighted the importance of documenting one’s thoughts and ideas for the benefit of society. He stated that such creative contributions add immense value to life and community, noting that “inspiring others through words and deeds is a noble endeavour, and we must encourage such meaningful efforts.”
C.V. Rappai praised Dr. Vadakkangara’s perseverance and dedication in authoring a wide range of books, describing his literary journey as a powerful example of creativity and commitment. He also shared his personal experience with the motivational series Vijayamanthrangal, encouraging the community to make use of it as a tool for positive transformation.
The event was graced by several distinguished community leaders and representatives of apex bodies, including ICC Advisory Board Chairman P.N. Baburajan, President A.P. Manikantan, General Secretary Abraham Joseph, ISC President E.P. Community leaders applauded Dr. Amanulla’s invaluable contributions as a teacher, guide, motivator, and social influencer. They noted that his works have touched and transformed diverse segments of society. With publications in Malayalam, Arabic, and English, Dr. Amanulla has established himself as a unique multicultural author—possibly the first expatriate to publish 100 books in multiple languages. Speakers described his body of work as “a legacy of learning and inspiration.”
Vijayamanthrangal, his widely acclaimed motivational series available both as books and audio podcasts, continues to uplift individuals, especially during challenging times.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Amanulla said:
“I am deeply thankful to Qatar and the Indian community for enabling me to contribute to social and literary spheres. Most of my books were written during my years in Qatar. The support and appreciation I have received humbles me and strengthens my commitment to continue inspiring and guiding future generations.”
A former Head of the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies at Ideal Indian School, Doha, Dr. Vadakkangara has authored books on Arabic literature, language learning series, Arabic grammar, Spoken Arabic, travelogues, career guidance, and of course, the celebrated Vijayamanthrangal series. His 100th book stands as a testament to passion, perseverance, and purpose.
