JAKARTA, Oct. 23– Indonesia and Brazil signed several memorandums of understanding (MoUs) on Thursday to strengthen collaboration across key sectors, including energy, mining, agriculture, science, and trade, according to the Indonesian Presidential Secretariat.
The signing ceremony took place at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta during the state visit of Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and was witnessed by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
“Today, we will sign four important agreements and understandings, and I hope this is proof that we are working quickly. I am confident that in the future, we will achieve even greater results,” President Prabowo said during the bilateral meeting.
The new agreements aim to promote joint initiatives between public institutions and business entities from both nations, marking a step forward in their shared commitment to advancing economic and technological cooperation.
