MIRPUR ( AJK): January 11: The annual fundraising event for Alkhidmat Raazi Hospital (CBR), titled “Infaq 2026 , Aik Shaam Raazi Kay Naam,” was successfully held in Islamabad. On this occasion, pledges amounting to Rs. 36 million were announced to support the hospital’s expansion, development, and further enhancement of healthcare services, it was officially said

The event was attended by President Alkhidmat, Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman, and Colonel Ashfaq Hussain as chief guests, organisers told our AJK Correspondent here late,Saturday.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman stated that Raazi Hospital is providing modern and high-quality healthcare services to the residents of Zone-V, Islamabad, at highly affordable rates, while free medical treatment is also being extended to deserving and underprivileged patients. He described Raazi Hospital as a practical embodiment of Alkhidmat’s welfare vision and commitment to serving humanity.

Colonel Ashfaq Hussain appreciated the hospital’s disciplined management, transparent administrative system, and patient-friendly environment. He noted that institutions like Raazi Hospital are playing a vital role in strengthening the healthcare sector and easing the burden on public health facilities. He emphasized that the continued support of donors remains the backbone of Raazi Hospital’s success.

The event was hosted by the Alkhidmat Raazi team, whose effective planning and professional arrangements ensured its success. The overall leadership of the event was provided by Chairman Nasrullah Randhawa, who has played a key role in establishing Raazi Hospital as a people-friendly, transparent, and sustainable healthcare institution.

On this occasion, Managing Director Dr. Tahir Farooq briefed the audience on the hospital’s performance, medical facilities, and future plans. He stated that Raazi Hospital has earned public trust by delivering high-quality healthcare services at low cost.

In his message, Patron-in-Chief of Raazi Hospital CBR Town, Altaf Ahmed Bhat, acknowledged and thanked all donors for their generous support. He specifically appreciated Jamaat-e-Islami, and highlighted that while CBR Society provided the plot for the hospital, it was the Alkhidmat Foundation and the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) and Local well-Off people who provided essential funds to complete the building. He also recognized the millions of rupees contributed by ordinary people, which enabled the completion of this landmark hospital.

Altaf Ahmed Bhat noted that because of Raazi Hospital, CBR Town’s credibility in the healthcare sector has significantly increased.

He further appealed to well-off individuals living in housing societies and members of the diaspora community to contribute financially so that the poor and needy can continue to receive maximum healthcare benefits from Alkhidmat Raazi Hospital CBR, Islamabad. He reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to providing dignified, high-quality medical care to all in need.

At the conclusion of the event, the organizers expressed gratitude to all participants, donors, and supporters and expressed confidence that the pledges made under Infaq 2026 will further strengthen Raazi Hospital and enhance its role as an effective and reliable healthcare institution.
