International academy for Women leaders on “Leadership in the Digital Era” to Commence tomorrow

Doha, November 16 (QNA) – The second session of the International Academy for Women Leaders, titled “Leadership in the Digital Era,” begins Sunday in Doha, attracting prominent local, regional, and global participants. The four-day event, hosted at Wyndham Doha West Bay, is a collaborative effort by the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC), the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions (ANNHRIs), the UN Development Programme (UNDP), and the UN Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs.
The session aims to explore the intersection of equal opportunities, leadership, and digital transformation, with a focus on how women leaders can drive impactful change in an interconnected, technology-driven world.
HE Chairperson of NHRC Maryam bint Abdullah Al Attiyah emphasized the academy’s role in fostering transformational and intergenerational leadership to tackle challenges in the digital age. On the opening day, discussions will delve into leadership frameworks and the dynamics of equal opportunities in leadership, addressing how advanced technologies like AI shape challenges and opportunities for women leaders.
The second day will feature strategies for empowering participants, focusing on transformational leadership models that harness diversity and foster collective intelligence. These sessions aim to equip women with skills to navigate uncertainty and create resilient, innovative environments.
The third day shifts focus to governance in the digital age, examining the political implications of digitization and developing skills to manage complexity through digital and AI tools.
On the final day, participants will work on defining their leadership voices and personal branding, both offline and online. Discussions will highlight leveraging AI in policy-making, decision-making, and crisis management, while exploring the interplay of governance and technology.
The academy aspires to equip women leaders with tools to lead effectively in an evolving digital landscape.
