International Schools Partnership (ISP) in the Middle East has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative by offering up to 100 scholarships across its nine prestigious institutions for the upcoming academic year 2024-25. These scholarships are designed to recognize and reward exceptional talent across a spectrum of academic and non-academic fields, catering to both current and prospective students.
Director of Learning for ISP – Middle East, Rory Galvin, expressed profound enthusiasm for this venture, citing ISP’s commitment to fostering a transformative educational experience that transcends traditional classroom boundaries. Galvin emphasized the importance of igniting students’ curiosity and nurturing their self-confidence, thereby equipping them to become future leaders and agents of change.
The inaugural scholarship, awarded to Jud Muhammad from The English College, signifies a promising start to ISP’s scholarship program. Jud’s remarkable achievement in an art competition, organized in collaboration with the Dynowish Foundation and Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), secured her a 50% tuition fee coverage for the following academic year.
Galvin commended Jud’s outstanding accomplishment and expressed eagerness to celebrate the achievements of many more students through similar initiatives in the future. Additionally, three other talented students – Benjamin Hoyland, Sarah Elsaleh, and Sally Ghanim – received accolades for their exemplary artwork in the competition.
The ISP scholarship categories encompass diverse fields such as Academic Excellence, Sports, Performing Arts, STEAM, IB, and Public Speaking. These scholarships offer varying degrees of financial support, ranging from 50% to full coverage of tuition fees, thereby ensuring accessibility to quality education for deserving students.
